Cat memes are something everyone has come across at some point or another. While they never had a huge impact on me, they did have a huge impact on Eric Nakagawa. In fact, he managed to create an entire startup business called I Can Has Cheezburger and because of his success and experiences he came to talk to all of us at Nalukai. Through the discussion we had with him we learned many things about being entrepreneurs. Here are some of the most important things we realized while talking to him.
1. Things aren’t suppose to be great on the first try. So keep trying.
2. You have to ask for it or you won't get it.
3. Never stop reading. Keep reading and gaining as much knowledge as you possibly can.
4. Sometimes your team will go their separate ways, and other times you'll find them coming back together for a different project.
5. With the right tools you can change anything about yourself.
6. The biggest liability is time.
7. It’s not real until it happens.
8. Be in it for the end game.
9. The door might be shut but you never know if the door is unlocked unless you test the handle.
10. You're going to miss a lot so pay attention.
